In the context of smart cities, our proposal ties with assisting
people further enjoy the city – whether they live in the city or are
just traversing.
Our SMART BENCH fulfils the need of a place to rest while
providing a charging pod both for mobile devices as well as
electric powered personal transportation devices (such as electric
skateboards, bicycles or dicycles). It can also serve as a wi-fi
hotspot and it can be integrated with the MAESTRO so that if
MAESTRO has solar panels built in, the gathered energy can be
shared with the bench, for a more efficient and conscient energy
consumption.
We believe people need to claim back the cities and the cities
need to become closer to the individual, in order to improve
everyone’s quality of life.
